oil pan question

I am putting my 305 oil pan on my new 350. I have a set of fel pro gaskets. The instructions say to use quick drying adhesive on the rear main seal gasket. What kind of adhesive should i use? Should i put a bead of RTV on the oil pan gasket itself? Thanks for the help.
Matt

you shoulld give more info, like 1 or 2 piece seal. for 1 piece i use avation gasket sealer on the outter edge and white greese on the inner lip. 2 piece i use ultracopper o nthe ends of the seals wherethey meet and offset them in the cap and block a little. use ultracopper on the mating surface of the rear main cap. i use 1 piece oil pan gasket so i use nothing on the block, very thin layer of ultracopper on the pan. make sure you hammer out the dimples in the bolt holes.
