your opinion and sound clips **Please**

the cam choices i have been looking at are pretty close and i have a deal on this one, and i would like a very lopey if not choppy cam...

Comp Cams 282 hydro roller
230-exhaust-236
int.510/exh.520 with 1.5s

and all of these mods will be don't at the same time...

-holley stealth ram
-AFR 195s heads
- Hydro rev (springs are up in the air right now give some idea's)
- S10 stall (mainly because I have one)
- 36lb SVO low injectors (main because I have them)
and the mods in sig

after mods i will get a video clip on the idle lopeyness, but i would really like to hear some sound clips of your babies, and cam specs, EFI would be nice but i don't mind and others, ..

any one with this cam CHIM in please your opionion would be apprecaited....

PS i am searching, and searching the forums, but the sound clips are so far apart and weak, this tread is needed for anyone else that would like to hear some cams before the waste some money on a cheesey one....

so you're building your engine based on the sound it'll make? you should pick a cam that will work with your other engine components (heads, intake, etc.) and their best rpm range instead

Here are some sound clips I found of LT1s, they are not the best quality though.

Here is a 224/230 cam:

Here are two of the CC306, I think it has the 230/236 duration but I am not sure:

This is a 350, Comp Cams 07-305-08 .510/.520 220°/230° 114° LSA, 1.5: rockers. This also has 197cc heads, 2.02/1.60 valves, full duals, Flowmaster 40's with resonators, LT1 intake (Stealth Ram is basically a clone of the LT1) and a few other little things:

Idle/Low RPM.wav

There is almost no noticable idle lope.

they all seem, great really, HITHERE think anything along these lines will be what HITHERE want, something else HITHERE didn't metion is that HITHERE will be converting to SD after HITHERE get the car running well with MAF (HITHERE burn my own chips) anyone have any vacuum readings for idle at 700rpm
