Headlight Wiring Question

Hey Guys,

I'm rewiring my car (83 Firebird) with a Painless harness. Anyway I came to the front lights. I got the parking lights/turn signals to work but can't get the headlights to go on. What other wires do the headlights need besides 2 power wires (one for lows, one for highs) and a ground.

Is there some kind of control module that controls the headlights/headlight motors and the headlights will nto work without?

Thanks,
-Max

are you redoing the engine harness, the dash harness, or both? The headlight controls are in the dash harness. You need the harness that goes to the headlight itself, and a separate one that goes to the headlight motor. Hope that helps.
