Those cams are still not good: the first is about the same as a stock one, while the second is massively, impossibly huge for an otherwise stock (heads intake & pistons) 305 TBI with an exhaust.

Do you not have a roller setup? If so, you would be far better off as far as performance to get a roller cam and re-use your existing roller lifters. You should be able to keep your pushrods too. Definitely follow the cam mfrs. valave spring recommendations, and roller-tip rockers would be worthwhile too. Doing that, here is the cam I would suggest as the outer limit of what you should try to use:

COMPETITION CAMS CAMSHAFT SPECIFICATION SHEET

PART # 08-412-8
GRIND NUMBER: CS XR264HR-10
ENGINE: CHEVY SM BLK 305-350
INTAKE EXHAUST
VALVE ADJUSTMENT HYD HYD
GROSS VALVE LIFT .487 .495
.006 TAPPET LIFT 264 270
VALVE TIMING OPEN CLOSE
AT .006 INT 26 BTDC 58 ABDC
EXH 69 BBDC 21 ATDC
THESE SPECS ARE FOR CAM INSTALLED
AT 106 INTAKE CENTER LINE
INTAKE EXHAUST
DURATION AT .050 212 218
LOBE LIFT .3250 .3300
LOBE SEPARATION 110
THIS CAM SHOULD USE SPRING # 986-16

Here it is in Summit:

CCA-08-412-8 CAM HYD ROLLER SBC XR264HR-10
$239.95

Here it is from Jeg's:

249-08-412-8 Grind: 264
Lift: .487''/.495''
RPM Range: 1200-5200 $ 249.99

You might want to consider giving Comp a call on their tech line, and seeing what they have to say. I believe they will tell you that even the cam I picked is too much for your car.

Good luck! I know it can be a bit confusing, I'm glad to pass along what little I can.

Actually that first one is Way better than stock believe it or not. The lobe sep is 115degrees stock VS 112 and the duration is 179/194 or something similar VS 194/214. You would see about 25HP on a stock engine, with exhaust and intake mods you could see as much as 35HP with that cam. Yes that cam is mild but way better than stock. I'd go 204/214 so you wouldn't lose too much low end.
