throttle linkage question?

I am in the process of installing a 454 TBI on my formula but the linkage is different than my 305. My question is are the shafts the same size around? If so I will just change the shafts but if not what can I do? I measured the screw holes and they are in the same place, if someone could please help me I would be greatful.
