Car runbs like crap when hot

Well the other day my car was running awsome, then i was at my girlfriends house for 2 hours, went out to leave and the car wouldnt start. It sounded like it wasnt getting a spark. so we checked it and it wasnt. We switched out the rotor cap and the control module and it started fine. problem solved, WRONG! So im then driving home and once the car temp gets over 155 then the engine starts to stutter. When i press on the gas it doesnt pick up and go, it stutters BAD!! but it only runs like that when im pushing on the gas and after it has warmed up to over the second line on the temp gauge (155). What could it be??

Well not knowing what you run for induction this may be totally wrong. But if you are running a carb you may want to check to see if your choke is sticking. Once the car warms up it will not need the mixture the choke supplies and will make the car run bad. If you really notice it under acceleration this maybe the cause.

Have you checked the oxygen sensor lately? Fuel pressure?

Is that the sensor in the air box? Tonight i noticed that the lights started to dim in and out if i was just coasting slowly without pressing on brakes or gas.

ok well i figured out this morning what was wrong with the lights, Dead battery. But i still have the problem with the stuttering. Could it be my filters, plugs, or plug wires?

i had it checked and it was good. i had just bought it last summer. Im wondering if it is the spark plugs or spark plug wires cause it happens when it gets hot. How do you check the plugs or wires?
