Tranny Cooler as Fuel Cooler

What would be the effects of using a transmission cooler mounted in front the radiator and running fuel through it. Obviously this isn't going to help has much as a cool can, but it also doesn't require the effort of one. This is for a carb (low pressure) application. Could it hurt?

I don't think it would do a whole lot except give you bragging rights that you have one.

The fuel doesn't get warmer until it gets past the fuel pump (mechanical), so it's not really warm enough for air to be able to cool it off.

If anything, the radiant heat from the radiator may actually warm it up more than it'll cool it.

A cooling can is MUCH more effective. A CAI setup would be better than that.

How cost/hp effective are the cool cans? I know that this question is relative, but...for generally speaking.

I have never seen one used on a fuel injected vehicle. Any reasons?
