My 84' trans am has been smoking a lot lately. When i start it up within 2 min i can see smoke coming up through the cowl induction hood when i lift the hood i see whitish smoke coming up around the air cleaner and drivers side heads....Is this an oil leak or what could it be possibly gaskets of some sort???? Please help???

The temp guage looks fine through out this whole ordeal

Most likely, valve cover gaskets.

Take the motor to the car wash, clean it up real good; it's alot easier to find an oil leak when it's a little dribble on a clean surface, as opposed to an entire motor encrusted in grimy schmutz.
