Chrome oil dipstick/tube
Does anyone know if the 82-85 cam/bird dipstick and tube also fits on an 88? I'm having trouble finding one that lists an 88.

you should check out the Lokar, dipstick. It's ploished alum. it's a pretty nice looking piece. But's like 50 bucks, I got it for my 89 cause I got headers and need a flexiable dipstick, and this one worked out great. Here's some pic of it on my car, it's kind of hard to see but it's under the spark plug wires. http://community.webshots.com/photo/...44918469vHVLvH

AFAIK they are exactly the same. I can't imagine why they would only list replacements for those years, it didn't change. Try it, they're only like $15 or $18, no big deal if it doesn't work.
