lg4 cam help
I have a lg4 out of an 86 monte carlo that i am putting into my camaro. It has the 4bbl rochester and aluminum intake. I plan on putting hedders and cam on it. My question is what would be the best cam for my setup? I want a descent idle but some more power. I believe it is a non roller setup
This engine will be attached to a 200 4r with 3.08 gears.

You would likely find a nice boost in hp by using the Crane PowerMax 260 or 266, or the Comp XE 250 or 256.
With just 3.08 gears I would use either the PM260 or XE250. They will retain some good lower rpm power and add some real sizzle to the above 3500 rpm range
