Cruise control with a stick?

Anyone here have a stick shift, and cruise control?

I don't have cruise control.

I want cruise control.

Um, ok... so what all is needed to convert a non CC car to a CC?

Or is one better off with the Audiovox Vacuum CC, with a new stalk to go with it? (there's one that I really like... looks a LOT like the stock one!)

I had it too. I have most of the parts sitting in my garage.
Only thing you can't have is the blinker switch since I heard it's a pain to take off.
You can have all the parts I have, just pay for the shipping.

Boy aint that the truth these days. No need for cruise control here, just a large heavy blunt object to hit other ignorant drivers with.

Zepher, what all parts do you have? What's missing?

And why did you remove it?

Audiovox setup is about $90.

I have the vacuum ball thingy, some cables and some other small items, like brackets.

I removed it since it didn't work and I don't use CC that much anyways, so I never tried to see what was actually not functioning on the system, I just took it all out.

No way man... all you gotta do is pull out the lever as usual (1/4 turn, pull) then fish the wire through the column towards the floor, btw if you wanna put that wire back in tie a piece of string to it to fish it back through otherwise its next to impossible to get it back in

Re: Cruise control with a stick?

I have a 1982 Z28 roller that I am putting an LS into. I have the cruise control, ECM and TBI wiring that I will not be using. Not sure what any of it is worth or if anyone even wants it?
