drag setup?

drag setup?

building my first street strip car and need some advice on what to buy to help the 60ft time. the cars a mild big block 425 hp and 475 torque 400th, 2400 stall posi and slicks but the rest is stock what do i want to do first torque arm,air bags,shocks,lower control arms panhard.south side machine setup theres so many choices and i dont have the money to experiment till i find a setup that works. i dont have a time on it now (not done) thanks.

Axle/Gears: Ford 9"/31 spline spool/4.86
Every improvement you do the the suspension will help. The goal is to remove all the excess movement in the suspension. When rubber bushings and stamped steel parts flex, it's lost energy. I still have a stock front end except for the removal of the front sway bar. The rear has everything done. Spohn torque arm, Herb Adams lower control arms and panhard bar, air bags in the springs, sub frame connectors and still have stock rear shocks.

Change it all if you want to race the car.
