When installing my Spohn torque arm, I noticed some oil around the rear of the torque arm where the two bolts attach to the rear axle, and also some oil on the bottom of the car in the same area. I looked at the torque arm a couple of weeks later, and see some oil building up again in the rear area. Its not coming from the rear cover of the axle, so where is it coming from?

Pinion seal?

 

First, what would cause this, since I only have 83K miles. An out of balance driveshaft? Second, how easy is it to fix. Or should I use this an excuse to swap in a 12-bolt.
