Weird thing happened to the Iroc this mornin'. About one minute after start-up the car half died. I was pulling away from an intersection and the 'Service Engine Soon' light came on. At this point the rpm's dropped way down and applying the gas pedal only seemed to cause the car to bog more. I shut it off and waited like 30 seconds. Turned her her back over and no 'service' light, but the same problem occured. This happened about six times. Then the last 15 minutes of my commute the car ran fine. I'm planning on taking it over to a friends tonight to get it scanned. Any Ideas?

Well, the engine code is a '33' which is the MAS sensor. Replaced that last night, still have the problem. Any ideas out there?

 

I had a similiar problem, except when I pulled over the car stalled and died. It wouldn't start up. Couple of days later it started up no problem and hasn't done it again. Let me know if you figure out what happened with your car.
