I have a drain problem some where and i can't find it.

I have subwoofers and everything i check all that it seems ok.

my problem is let the car sit for 7 hours it has power. let it sit for another 7 to make 14 hours sitting...total dead.

Im lost.

before it would last like 2 days straight and it just start.

im lost......any tips?

 

You'll need to connect an ammeter in series with the battery. Once connected, remove fuses or disconnect loads one at a time while you monitor th eparasitic (standby) current. Once you see a significant drop, you will have found the most likely suspect.

It's also possible the battery is sulfated, and is shorting istself out at the bottom of the plates. To test that, disconnect the battery completely and load test it after sitting for the 14 hour trial.

 

I forgot the battery is like a month old. Ok il have to try that.

I don't have a ammeter though.

what other methods could i use to find the source of the problem??

 

Disconnect your negative battery cable and connect a test light between it and the battery. If it lights, you have a drain. Disconnect stuff until it goes out and you found the problem.
