255/60 tire..will they fit right?

if i get a 255/60-15 tire on a 15x8 inch rim with a 3.75 inch back spacing..will they stick out of my fenders? if they will, im gonna have to settle for the 15x7 with a 3.75 inch back spacing! (this is for the rear only..front will have 245/60-15)

whether it fits or not, it's going to look like a 4x4 with tires that tall. That's got to be at least a 27" tall tire.

get the 255's for the rear and go with like 225 or 235 for the fronts. i got 215's up front and also all my tires are a 60 profile.

that pics not the best but its the newest one i have, hopefully tomarrow will be better weather

I hate the look of a real tall tire on a camaro. I like the way my 245/50/16s look on my 16x8s.

On my stock rims I had 235/60/15 It looked so stupid IMO.

255s will fit on a 8'' rim easily...I know guys running 255s on 7'' wide rims.

Also know a guy running 295s on a 8'' rim

88camaro350,
If you don't have/can't afford 16 inch wheels, you need a 60 series tire. A 50 series on a 15 inch wheel looks ridiculous, I know, my car had 215/50/15s on the front when I bought it. Now it has 235/60/15s on the front, much better looking.

I used to run 235/60R15 in the front and 255/60R15 in the back. I think I might even have a pic of those tires on it.

5.5 BS for the rear tires is the norm.. A 10.5" wide slick will fit in the stock wheel house.
