Aluminum 305?

I'm looking to do a whole build up from the bottom up and need a block to start with. If there aren't any aluminum ones are there any years that are better to do this with?

I seriously doubt that they make one. How many people out there are going to drop $4k on a 305 block?

How much money are you looking to spend? Usually if you are getting a completely different motor and not modding the one that is in your car then you can get more power out of a 350 for about the same amount of money as you would a 305. If you were considering an alum block, I hope you have a decent budget. If you have that kind of money I would suggest putting it in something larger than a 305 anyway.
