Hey guys,

Im thinking of buying a trans-am(dont know the year yet) with a 305 multiport, 700r4 tranny with a possie rear end.
My question is weither Im better off modding this engine or pulling it out for a 350.
I got about $2000 to work with and most of the work can be done by a family member who is a mechanic.

If I go the route of the modding, what type of mods?
Anyone have a line on a 350 engine?

thanks alot

Craig

I can never justify a 305 in a 350 comparison. I mean, it would different if it had a shorter stroke, but it's just a 350 with less bore. 45CIN less bore !!!

So in that since ---
No replacement for displacement. ...and that's dude...
