Make sure that your Distributor Cap and Rotor have Brass terminals not Aluminum. Napa has good stuff. I use Delco RapidFire plugs as well.

a good cap and rotor is the Conrad kit, it contains both the cap and the rotor. You can get them at autozone. You of course have to ask for that specifically, everytime you go to the parts store and just ask for a cap and rotor they just run off and grab the cheapest piece of sh&% they can find.
But conrads have brass terminals, i'm pretty impressed at how well built it is, even though they have a less than attractive red color.
As for spark plugs i'm a firm believer in regular delco plugs. They're not the best quality out there, but they work and they dont mislead people with what they do. I havnt heard alot of good things about rapidfires, basically people say they're ok but they dont see why they cost $3 a piece.
I have heard good things about Bosch Super plugs. No, not bosch platiunum +48s or whatever, Bosch Super. I've had several people tell me they're even higher quality than rapidfires and cost less than a buck a piece. But hey, i dont like the bosch company so you wont see me use them.
