Vaccuum help ???

I think i have found the last problem in a tune port swap. Got the car running alright but it lacks pick up on acceleration. Feels like a vaccuum problem . When i was setting the idle screw i noticed what seems like a vaccuum line i have overlooked. It's a small inlet coming out of the underneath the throttle body closer to the drivers side.. Anyone know if this is a vaccuum line, and where it connects to ?

that sounds like the "tb coolant bypass" valve. you should have one on the passenger side of the tb that pumps water in, and the one on the passenger side is where it comes out. if you don't live where there is freezing weather, you can just bypass it. there is a link on the thirdgen page on how to do the tb bypass. i have it done to my car. you can blow into one hole and feel the air come out the other...

hope this helps.

If it is just a tiny vac tube, like as in maybe 1/4" it goes to the EGR soleniod, or it should, and yes this could cause some performance problems, the Tb coolant tube is about 3/4 inch in diameter to give you the difference of the two sizes.

OK then, that one goes to one of the two Vac hoses that go to the EGR solenoid by the distributor (passenger side), the second hose on the EGR solenoid goes to the EGR valve itself. With this not working properly it will cause performance issues.
