Engine swap?
Engine swap?
I just bought my '86 z28 and the person I bought it from said that they swapped a rebuilt 350 in there about 30k miles ago.
How do I tell if they did and if they did what kind of 350 is it?
BTW factory its a Lg4 and it still has single intake and the carb

speed is a good thing,
more speed is a better thing

A block casting number will tell you if it's a 305 or 350 block. Pull the valve covers and get head casting munbers also.
Other than that, it's hard to tell how long an engine has been in a car and how much milage. A rebuilt engine can fail in 1000 miles or can easily go for 100,000 miles depending on the rebuild.
