sometimes i really do think i am stupid!
k well tonight i noticed that i was running low on power stearing fluid so i went and grabbed a bottle out of my trunk that i though was power stearing fluid, that turned out to be carburator cleaner. i pored about about 25% of the bottol in. started the car then shut it off realiseing what i did. i drained out all the fluid, and put in the right stuff but now when i turn hard any direction is squeelz and is choppy . any ideas on what to do next to fix this problem?

Remove the return hose and route it to a catch container. Ready to add more, start the engine, and flush a couple of quarts through, adding fresh to the resevoir as it is pumped out. Shut it off, reattach the return, fill to proper level.

Jack the front wheels up off the ground and with the engine not running turn the steering wheel lock to lock a few times. This will bleed all the air out and cause it not to squeal when you get done flushing it.
