battery acid

battery acid

hi does any body know what will remove battery acid off of steel and aluminium when its been on a while and started to fur up. i wire brush it off and 2 weeks later its as bad again

How about some neutralizer, like the stuff that comes in a spray can that's used on batteries & connectors. It's usually purple, but I can remember then name?
At any cost you might even try baking soda & water.
