anything wrong with my setup
Well I finally got my car back together and running good. But it feels slow. I just put the heads and intake on. I noticed a difference but not all that much. Going from stock 081 heads to vortecs should be a pretty gain right? The initial timing is advanced to 10* if that makes a difference. But I dunno whats wrong if anything. I was just expecting this to make a little more power than it has.

You sure you had 081's (305 TPI heads) or 083's L98 heads?
If 081's, then what you lost in CR, but gained in flow...may have worked out about even?

they were 081's and I realize that I lost compression. But I don't think this car will be able to even break 14.5. I was under the impression that I'd be able to easily hit the 13's.
