I'm thinking of buying one, so... what is the best ignition system? and what is the best model to use on our cars? I've heard Jacobs is pretty good, but too expensive What about the other ones? Which one is in second place? (MSD, Crane, Holley, Accel, Mallory...)

 

they are all basically clones of eachother. The accell is the smallest (and possibly the most cost effective). At one time, they had a coil and CD box for about 150 bucks. The basic holley is not bad (I have it). The MSD will probably cost the most if you want to include a rev limiter (because it is optional on the MSD6

 

I've got the MSD6AL 169.99 Going to need tach adapter probebly 25.99 and I have the Accel super Remote mount coil 49.99
So for about 250 You can have a good setup.
