Wet Engine
On my way home today from a friend's house there was a tsunami that basically dropped a whole butt load of rain down on my neighborhood. While I was trying to pull in I had to drive through about 6inches to 8inches of water.
Needless to say... my car got really wet. My speakers started to crackle so I turned the radio off and when I finally got into my driveway I noticed a white/misty smoke coming out of my tail pipes. I'm not sure if it is steam or something else.
I'm looking for any and all constructive suggestions on what I should do. Should I turn my car on and let it run for a little while to try to let it dry out or should I just park it in the garage and let it drip dry.
Thanks,
-Joe Bliz

**Update**
I let it run for about 5-10 minutes and the steam/mist stopped coming out of the tail pipes. The temp gauge was really low... but now it reads 220 and I lifted the hood and I dont' see any type of water anywhere.
I don't think I'm going to try to turn on the radio/speakers for a day because I'd hate to lose my solobarics and amp because of a little water
