I HAVE A 305 TPI. WHEN I SWITCHED IT FROM TBI I USED THE 350 ECM. SO I WOULD LIKE TO GET A JET STAGE 2 CHIP SHOULD I GET THE ONE FOR THE 350 OR THE 305.

You could get the high-performance chip from Frito Lay. I hear that the WOW! chips cause some really high-performance once the olestra kicks in...

As for your car, the ECM for the TPI system is the same for either the 305 or 350 - part no. 1227165. The PROM for the 350 will tend to run your engine on the rich side constantly, even with the smaller 305 injectors. I would suggest a PROM for a 305, since the air flows you will experience at most operating ranges will be more like what the 305 PROM expects and to which it can calculate fuel delivery correctly.

Even if you have a highly modified 305, the air flows at a given RPM are going to be appropriate for a 305, not a 350. The aftermarket programmers should already have taken this into account and modified fuel and spark advance tables accordingly.

SORRY FOR NOT TELLING YOU THIS EARLIER BUT DURING THE SWAP EVERY PIECE I USED CAME FROM THE 350 LIKE THE 22# INJECTORS SO DOES THAT CHANGE ANYTHING. I ALSO PORTED AND POLISHED THE RUNNERS GUTTED THE MAF PUT HEADERS ON IT GUTTED THE CAT AND USE NO MUFFLERS SO DO YOU THINK IM ALL RIGHT WITH THE 22# INJECTORS. AND THE 305 CHIP LIKE YOU TOLD ME.
