ok, i will try a new combo for 12, help please
Ok guys I have wuts in my sig and i am probably running around a 13.9 or somthing in the quarter cause i got beat by a car that runs 13.7.. so long story short, my valve guides are bad so i am just gonna geta set of vortecs already machind down. Now with these vortecs wut intake and cam do you suggest to get the best gas milage out of the gas and be able to hit around a 12.8 on street tires with some gears out back? Also do you think with the vortecs theres any setup i can run to get me down in the 12's and get around 10-12mpg babying it aroudn town?? thanks guys and any input is great. also my minmds set on the vortecs cause they fit my budget and will make more power then i need. thankls again

Define street tires. Some consider Nitto DRs to be street tires because they are DOT approved. I consider mine (275-35-18s) to be street tires because that's what I drive all the time on the street.
I can't hit 12s on my tires simply because I have waaayyy too much torque. I'd see 12s easily with some DRs.

89F : check out the combo in this thread.
It went like stink for a daily driver and was suprisingly good on gas.

mild hydraulic roller cam would be the cats A**
If its within your budget, go for it.
