High 13's-LOW LOW 14's

What would it take to run these? With low end power, keeping the t-5 tranny. The t-5 won't be driven hard everywhere, because it has to stay. I'm thinking, full exhaust, FINALLY putting my intake on (would I have Computer problems if I put it on? I heard about some), some suspension goodies, and anything else I may need. What do you guys reccommend?

you will need a cam for sure. I don't think 13.99 is likely on a 305 without a cam or spray. I'm sure someone will jump in here and say they did it but if you're going to have the intake off it would be an easier time to do the cam and lifters than doing them seperately. New timing chain and some gaskets and you're good to go.

That stock cam is holding you back.

JUST my opinion.

The setup in my sig should be good for mid-14s. To hit low-14s and high-13s you will need 3.73 gears. A bit lumpier cam might help, too, for the top end charge. Maybe a Comp XE 262 or Crane PowerMax 266.

Heads and exhaust are absolutely mandatory or you won't get there.

its very possible but it would probably be cheaper in the long run to buy a 350 block and start there, other things ya might wanna think about are some tubular control arms, some lca relocation brackets, stickier tires, maybe an air bag, and as with any f-body your planning on takin to the strip some subframe connectors.
