Cam Questions

I have a 91 RS with the LO3 V8 TBI engine, that I am rebuilding. Can someone give me the specs on the hydraulic roller cam that is in the engine and any recomendations on a nice cam with more HP and torque. I'm thinking one of crane cams powermax emissions legal cams.

Another question I think I mixed up the roller lifters in the engine, Is there anyway to find out which way they have to point cause i know they are angled to keep the cam in the enigne so I don't have to buy new ones.

The cam specs are at our homepage... www.thirdgen.org

Click on the link to the left titled "Tech Data"

Actually, here's a link..... https://www.thirdgen.org/newdesign/tech/techdb.shtml

The cam specs are toward the bottom of the page.

As far as what to use for a replacement; Search the TBI boards for the LT1 cam, or even the L98 cam.

I know where you can get an LT1 cam pretty cheap.

Psst ...... Look in my sig below.
