high oil pressure

i was using 5w-30 at frist because of tapping noise and the temp was 90 degrees and oil pressure at 65 psi so i change to 10w-50 and the oil pressure is still high.

What exactly are you calling high? 65 lb. is not all that high, I think anything over 80 might be too much, much more than that and the pump drive shaft might twist off, I know a guy that used to brag about his engine having 100lb. cold , that is untill the shaft twisted off.
