I love them! I used them with the TPI swap into my 85 Monte SS, but make usre you either use a solid trans mount, or at least band the factory trans mount, or you be having trouble shortly with broken tranny mounts or worse the tailshaft.

They are a abit of a PITA to install, cause you have to not only put them on the engine themselves, but on the K member too. So just that you know, there are 4 pieces for just the engine. If you are going to use a Poly trans mount make sure to band it or it will brake in most likely a short while.

they weren't too bad to install, the only complaint is that i have a 15mm wrench stuck in my front suspension somewhere.(k-member/a-arm area)

what do ya mean about banding the poly mount. i have an energy suspension trans mount, are you saying that they break alot? and if so, how would they, they don't have any where to move, when the motor moves, doesn't the whole car, as opposed to just the drive train? next question, does anyone sell a solid tranny mount? moroso advertises that their solid tranny mount won't work in the 3rd gen f-bodies. any truth in that?

isnt it almost impossible to break a poly mount? i know one could but isnt it extremely hard to do? i have the solid motor mounts and a poly tranny mount. none of them have seen use yet cuz the motor isnt ready but... how do you "band" and tranny mount?

Well disregard the banding of the Trans mount, as it the F body cars have the Torque arm, and I keep forgeting about that. As I have a G body. But what I meant by banding the trans mount is useing the bands that alot of Suspension shops use to hold springs compressed. By doing this it makes the rubber or poly mounts much stronger. I am actually not sure if they make a Solid trans mount for F body cars come to think of it.

yeah, that's what i thought. when i go to the spohn torque arm, i will look into banding the mount, or possibly fabbing a mount? i could take some steel stock, drill holes for the tranny and drill and tap hole for the cross member, doesn't seem like it would be that hard.
