lost heat at burger king drive thru

i was waiting in line at burger king for about 7-8 min when my heater began to blow cold air. i thought the ac was on for a minute. i switch it to vent and it still was blowing cold air. the blower motor was on high and it still worked on all speeds. when i got back on the road to about 35 the heat kicked back in. could this be a sticking thermostate. i have a 160 thermo and chip. and allot of other mods. it was about 30 degrees here in ohio today. my car does get warm in the winter after driving a mile or so. my car never gets above 180 degrees on my auto xray scanner. any ideas what happened?

Check the coolant level and if you have a TPI or TBI engine check (aaaaa screw it) just change your heater control valve. It's gonna go eventually. Hope this helps!

sounds like either you were low on coolant, or the heater bypass valve closed for a bit becuase you were idling and it didnt have enough vac to hold it open, this could be caused by a vac leak or a bad bypass valve..
