oil pan

I am looking through summit for an oil pan . I have an 87 ta 305 with the 700r4. What is the best pan i can buy how deep should it be.I just need to know what kind of oil pan i should get.

I doubt your really gonna find one in there that would fit the car. You have to make sure it would clear the frame and exhaust and everything else in there. Best bet is to get a stock one. They work just fine. You can get one from either a 305 or 350.

Don't go too fancy with a kick-out pan or something cause I did and ended up having to change the exhaust hedders....

Like "Birmass" said go for a stock one from Moroso or a company like them...

In Jegs, Moroso part# 20182 is listed as an "Excellent choice for 82-92 Camaro/Firebird". I have no experience with the pan, just letting you know that's what it says. This pan is for 86+ block w/ 1 piece rear seal.
