Comp Cams XE cams?

Hey guys im not sure which cam i want from the XE line. ive been lookin at the XE262 and the XE268. specs for the XE262 cam are for lift int/ext .464/.470 @ .050 lift with a lobe of 114. the xe268 cam specs are int/ext .479/.490 @ .050 lift with a lobe of 114.

im goin to be using comp cams pro magnum roller rockers with a 1.5 ratio enless someone says the 1.6's will be better.

also im goin to go with a 2800 stall converter and 3.73 gears and probably an edelbrock rpm air gap intake or Dart air gap style intake. and if i have the time or money ill either have the heads ported or buy the world products S/R torquer heads but those would be later. cam, gears, converter are what im really focusing on.

I havent been impressed with the XE cams in SBC's they just dont do what they claim to be able to.

If you want a comp cam the your best bet will be either 260H or if your getting the gears done at the same time a 268H would be the max I'd use. Nothing like over caming an engine and ending up with less power then you started with if ya know what I mean. Persaonlly I would look into a Xtreme 4X4 cam 305's love tq cams.
