Hey all first things first, I have a 4l60e with a 350 in front of it. What I am having trouble finding is people/forums where this transmission is prevalent, so I can search read up and learn about what people do for certain situations. Such as torque setttings, speed settings.. economy settings etc.

Does anyone know of any good boards for these trannys? Or a car or two they came stock in? Fullsizechevy.com is offline.. and no offense to their board readers/message leavers.. but they dont really have any active tranny discussions a search for the 4l60e usually nets a lot of people selling custom chips, and buildign custom trannys for $$ I know their are some knowledgable programmers here(thanks grumpy), but unless I have a direct question I just have to read previous posts to help satisfy my curiosity..

Second..this setup is in a 350TBI..a Full size chevy truck. I'm looking for torque, spin the tires off the line torque.. im not to worried about final speed or anything faster than 60mph..one more 120 mph ticket and ill be riding a scooter lol...

Anyways I was thinking of dropping a cam in it, a cam only, they are cheap so are the gaskets.. I will later be doing more mild mods.. how hard is a cam to just drop in, what would you recommend with the stock setup...I mean for $85-$120 will it make it worht it, if not are their any other mods for about that price that will show me as much of a gain...
