problem with daily driver, it's winter in Michigan. (not 3rd gen related).
I have a 92' Grand Prix with a 3.1 V6 as a daily driver. Yesterday I incountered something very odd.
I was sitting in my friends driveway with the engine running when I noticed my normally smooth-running engine was idleing rough. I also noticed my windshield becoming foggy even though the defroster was on. I put my hand over the vent and felt cold air coming out of it even though it was on max hot. I then glanced down at the gauges and noticed the SES light was on and the oil pressure gauge was at 0 psi. I shut the engine down and went inside. An hour later I came outside started the car and everything was normal. I drove the car all day today and nothing went wrong. I checked the oil and coolant and everything seems to be ok. WHAT THE HECK COULD THIS BE?????
Why would the defroster and oil pressure be affected at the same time? I think its a sensor. I don't know if this would have an affect but I think my cat is going.

Have you checked the codes? That is where I would start at. BTW kickers are great until they screw up. I love mine.

JDM,
J-Mon is right. Scan for that error code and you'll probably get a hint as to what is going on. The codes remain in memory for the last 50 engine starts, so you should retrieve the codes soon.
