Correct torque of roller rocker arms
I developed lifter tick, and got some bad information on the correct torque calibration for each arm. What should the correct callibration be for stock 350 heads.

See, that's the thing. There never was a 'click', it just kept tightening.

What they mean is tighten the rockers down to zero lash as best you can guess. Then start the engine with the valve covers off and back the rockers off slowly until they click, and tighten until the clicking stops. Then go about 1/4 to 1/2 turn past that.

i do mine with motor off... Tighten the nut until I feel no upward/downward motion in the rocker arm... then I do all one side, then the other side (yeah tahts alot of turning the engine over) then a 1/2 turn more... Never had any problems with mine but noone seems to like doing it this way... I would never mess with the vavle train with the motor is running but that is just me..

I do them like Hydric above does. I disconnect the coil and bump the engine over to 0deg and #1 is in firing pos. I do Int #1,2,5,7 and exh 1,3,4,8. Then I bump the engine around to 0deg again (#6 fire) and do int 3,4,6,8 and exh 2,5,6,7
