1985 IROC TPI 305....car runs like *** when its cold
Seems like the cold start part of my fuel injection on my TPI iroc doesn't work. When I first start the car on a cool day, it almost dies and barely runs, then backfires through the intake a couple times as you take off. Then when it warms up to about 160ish, it runs perfectly fine and doesn't exhibit any of these problems. Whats going on here??? No engine codes either.

You can rule out the choke since there's not one.
The cold start inj only works when the starter is being engaged, so you can rule that out too.
I'd check fuel press and for vacuum leaks. Sounds like you're running lean.
