Hey guys, i would like to keep my stock cam and intake and just replace my old heads with the new one's.

What would be the best heads for the car for less than $1000.

Please look below to get an idea what I have.

You'd be wasting your money buying a good set of heads without adding a good camshaft to go with it, not to mention some porting on your intake pieces would be beneficial as well. If you're going to retain your stock camshaft, you might as well save a ton of money and just have your original heads freshened up.

You should really look to the World Product S/R 305 head, which is around $650 a set. In addition, please consider getting a new cam. $160 will buy a nice one. Finally, while you are in there, consider a higher stall converter. Turbine Technologies makes a good one for the price: $160. I'm using one and cut 4 tenths off my quarter mile. You'll like it, I'm sure.

All up, the changes I've recommended will come in at a few bucks over $1000, and you'll have a responsive, fun car.
