Running a little rich
Running a little rich
Showing no codes. Just replaced a CTS. At idle there is a good amount of fuel smelling "smoke" coming out of the pipes. Its cold so I figure for a little but this looks to be a bit excessive. I'm positive its not a head gasket as it does not smell like coolant and I just had the heads off. It was doing this before I had them off so I didn't ding the gaskets in an improper install.......

I noticed in your sig you have 23 lb. injectors. I'm assuming you have an adjustable fuel pressure regulator. Have you tried playing with your fuel pressure? Also, I've heard if you're still running a stock chip with bigger injectors, it can cause them to run richer at idle.

You knwo I was thinking that. I do not have an AFPR. I've been meaning to get one. I have an aftermarket chip from Street and Perf. Its their stage 1 performance chip. Maybe this isnt aggressive enough.
