Sounds like the chip guy didn't really disable VATS, given the security light is still lit.

maybe your right should it stay off? now a new twist the police brought my original key to my house isnt that lovely i should have just left it alone. now after i turn my key forward my service engine soon light stays on if i remember right its supposed to go off after a little while another thing i covered the new key resistor with electrical tape and the vats light went off but it still wouldnt start. im so mad right now. then i tried it again and the security light comes on again with the tape still on.im gonna make a copy of my new key with a #2 resistor like the old one and try that.any other ideas?
