blowing oil out the dipstick???
under hard driving (any other) my Z will blow oil out the dipstick
Any ideas? THe stick clips in, and really doesn't get loose, the oil just seems like it blows around the rim.

blowing oil out the dipstick???

Seriously...
Check the PCV. The only reason the dipstick will blow out is from crankcase pressure.
If it's not the PCV, you could have major blow-by from worn rings.
I don't think it is rings. No smoke in exhaust. PCV rattles when shaken. I will replace anyway (cheap). This just started all the sudden, I keep very good care of my car and would pick up on earlier indications of rings.

AJ's right. This happened to me when I first got my Z, and it was the PCV system. Your PCV valve may be fine, but what I didn't realize about mine for too long, was that somebody had put TWO PCV's in it, the other one in place of the 90 degree fitting on the passenger side valve cover. The two worked against each other and screwed up my oil pressure, and I had a mysterious oil leak that would burn on the headers and choke the engine, throwing all sorts of codes that went nowhere.
Definitely check ALL parts of the PCV system.

take the pcv valve out of its hole and put your finger on the end, there should be a lot of vaccuum there at idle and the engine rpm should change when you do it. if its not the vac hose to the pcv valve may have a leak. also make sure the breather is connected to the intake on the other side of the engine.

Do the pcv and breather routine....good thing to check before more invasive surgery.
If that don't cure it, rings are gone......no, you won't necessarily see smoke out the back with bad rings.
That all depends on which ring/rings on which cylindar/cylindars "went south"!
As an example, I have an '83 Cierra in the back drive that blows oil out of every oriface it has....except the tailpipe. I didn't mind that so much until the rod started knocking!

bought a new pcv valve today, the old one was much heavier and rattled just a little bit. It was pulling vacuum but I will inspect the rest of the system when I am home during daylight. ( I only drive the car app 100 miles a month no time
) I really dont think it is the rings. Also, it seems I remember something on the other side of the engine It has been a few years since I did the plenum porting I cant remember exactly.

It's combustion getting into the crankcase, one way or another.
Exhaust valve guides (possible)
Rings (probably not)
Intake gasket leak, at the center, around what people call the "EGR passages" (highly likely)
Cracked head (highly unlikely)
Broken piston (possible if the engine has been severely overheated or subjected to nitrous)

i had an 84 4 cyl fiero that would blow oil/steam out of the oil filler cap like a fountain because of its MASSIVE blowby, but NO smoke out of the tail pipe, and passed emissions with flying colors, so dont rule that out.. i dont ean to scare you or anything, sounds like it might have been the pvc, but dont rule out the rings
