Sizing and Torque

Hi,
Can somebody tell me what size socket I need to remove the lug nuts off of my 91 trans am with the 245/16 tires? I don't have the factory piece so I tried a 19mm socket and it seemed a little loose. Also, what should I torque the nuts too when I put the wheel back on? I guess I should do this in a star pattern also?

Thanks alot for your help..

They should be 3/4".

Torque should be about 90 ft-lbs.

Yes you should tighten them in an alternating pattern; tighten one, skip one, tighten the next, skip one, etc.
