my air pump is making some odd noises and i want to replace it before it locks up on me. i wanted to know how hard it is to replace one and how much it would cost to get a new one for my 305 TBI. thanks

half way thru a road trip, almost thought it was the water pump making the sualling noise, now seems the air pump bearing on the pulley has really the problem, currently the car has no cat so the belt reroute is the way to go,Thanx all!!
