mystery oil leak

I've got a pool of oil on the intake manifold by the thermostat and cant figure the sob out.The common sense answer would be the valve covers but theres no "flow" marks. Its just...there.I wipe it off and I returns.Theres no cracks in the intake either.

There are several intake manifold bolts that are "wet". If they are loose, or if they were not installed with a little rtv on the threads, they can leak. This is what I would guess the issue is.

I had that happen on the 305. 2nd intake bolt back from the front of the engine on the passenger side. I just used some thread sealer and all was fine.
