polyurithane motor mounts??
Hey guys I have an 89 bird and I wunt to put some plyurathane motor mounts in it be4 i put the motor in, Now I am confused as to witch ones I need, All I can find is wut looks liek the inside of the mount. Now do I buy this and rip the old one out and just slide this one in or wut?? thanks

most if not all of the mounts fit inside the 2 metal shells. there have been a few people on here report problems with ES poly mounts along with the poly trans mount making the engine sit higher by about 1/2"

3rd gens use 4-bolt engine mounts. You want the -1116G (black) or -1116R (red).
You are buying just the isolator, you still use the existing steel clamshell mounts.

Ok so what you are saying is that the actual mount that bolts to the k-member stays bolted to the car and u just rip out the guts and put the polyurathane inserts in?? also i don;t see how it could make it sit a half inch higher if its still inside that stock shell cause my stock ones are about at the top of it anyways?? thanks for clearin any of this up guys
