any years not have in-tank pump?

just curious if any year third gen doesnt have an in-tank pump. When i swap from TBI to a carb and use a mechanical pump, id like to know if there are any off the shelf gas tank sending units that just have an in-tank fuel pick up w/ no pump.

if so, does anyone happen to have a GM part number on this?

82-84 LG4 shouldn't have an in-tank pump, don't have a P/N handy though.

The part number has been left out of the current GM EPC, since it has been long discontinued.

Pretty much any camaro that is factory carbed had a Mechanical fuel pump. I believe my 84Z has a 3/8 outlet (dont quote me though) If you cant find a new sender just have yours modded, its not to bad to do.

Car: 1989 Firebird Formula
Engine: Internal Combustion
Transmission: Completed
Axle/Gears: ones that turn.
Check with a muffler shop; most of them also do gas tanks as well, and should be able to find the pickup assembly you need.

Unless you have some other reason for wanting to do so, why not just remove your fuel pump and replace it with a piece of fuel line, run an inline filter before and after the pump and then you can use your stock sending unit? this would be much easier and cheaper.
