Simple idea - some suggestions desired
Ok - I wanna chuck the stock TB bellows because it is obviously inhibits airflow. The simplest solution is the best one! A section of 3.5" PVC pipe is what I want. I'll use two couplers; one for airlid to pvc and the other for pvc to throttlebody. The coupler needs to have give so the movement of the engine doesn't stress the airlid. I was thinking silicone.
Where can I find silicone couplers? Any suggestions for another unconventional material or household item that can be 'adapted' into a coupler?

Wow - that company does sell everything. Problem is, I can't find what I want. Maybe I'll call them.
Ede - The rubber tubing that goes from the airbox lid to the throttle body on dual snorkel air cleaner TPI cars. It has many ridges (to flex and give) (inhibits airflow at higher velocity). I want to trash it and replace with a section of smooth PVC piping or similar material (no ridges). Now, when the engine moves it will stress and twist the airlid, unless I can find something to use to 'couple' the pvc to the airlid and throttlebody.
Why can't silicone couplers be easier to get your hands on?

Thanks. Didn't even occur to me to look at turbo stuff!
Keep em coming - I know someone has an unconventional suggestion. For instance, some people have used sections of traffic cone. If it comes to that I'll find a cone - lol.
