Can't find .4 steel bearings for headlight motors...please help!!!!!

I looked at every hardware store around and still cant find any...is there anywher else that might have them? I really need them b/c my car looks like **** w/ both headlights stuck up.

Bearings Inc. they have everything and if they don't they can get it for you. can't buy it from gm? how about a junk yard?

You can check out Rodney Dickman's webpage www.execpc.com/~rodney1/index.html, he sells repair kits for Fiero (same headlights). His kits use a piece of plastic rod (dowel) cut into three sections. The kits go for 4 bucks each. Or try finding a solid rod in the right diameter and cut to fit. Works in my ride.

...or check your local branch of Motion Industries/Bearing Headquarters. There's a good chance that if it's an antifriction device, they can find it.

Check the yellow pages for an electrical motor rebuilder. When I needed some exotic
bearings I went to one, and the guys were able to special order some German made ones for me...
